Wendell's Wonderful Hood Mender

Are you one of the oh so many owner's of an old Sears tractor that has had
the connection between the hood and the frame broken from any of several reasons?

Well, along comes Wendell to the rescue....

Wendell makes a brace that fits the SS , ST , & GT hoods (Though it has not knowingly been tried yet, it may
also fit the xx/6 model tractors!) This brace fits inside the back of the fiberglass grill. It is made of all steel. His
hood fix has the hinges & the hood retainer chain on the new piece. It hinges to the "tin" part of the hood. This
brace takes ALL the stress from the upper grill. Best part of all is that this is all hidden and does not show from
the front. Wendell sells these units fully constructed and ready for installation on your tractor for the low price $50.
This price Includes shipping to your destination. the only mod required is the old fiberglass part has to lose the
hinge bosses, plus the bosses for the two bolts that hold the lower side of the grill screen, These are incoperated
into the new part.

There are currently about 15 members of the Yahoo group, {thesearsgardentractorclub2}, who are now using these.
